21 Years of Experience
Trinity College London is an international exam board that has been providing assessments since 1877. With a rich heritage of academic rigour and a positive, supportive approach to assessment, we provide recognised and respected qualifications in a unique spectrum of communicative skills from music, drama and arts activities to English language at all levels. Each year over 600,000 candidates in over 60 countries take a Trinity assessment and our international network is growing fast. Trinity exams and assessments are designed to help students progress. They inspire learners and mark their achievement at each stage of their development and at all levels of competence. Our exams focus on assessing skills and how effectively the candidates can apply what they have learnt, not just on knowledge for its own sake. We also encourage candidates to bring their own choices and interests into our exams this motivates students and makes the assessment more relevant and enjoyable. Trinity exams are internationally recognised and fully accredited by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and other education authorities in many countries around the world. At the heart of Trinity’s work is the support we provide for teachers, both in terms of specific support for teachers preparing candidates for our exams, and more general teacher development. Our work with teachers is supported by a growing international network of relationships with key education institutions. This ensures that our teachers have access to the best professional development available. We aim for excellence in our customer service by providing quality, flexibility and responsiveness to everyone we deal with. For more detailed information on all our assessments, take a look at our subject specific pages. Trinity College London aims for excellence in its customer services by promoting quality, flexibility and responsiveness.
Following a review of branding, Trinity College London decided to offer all its examinations under the Trinity College London brand and discontinued the use of the Trinity Guildhall brand from 31 July 2012. We believe this will bring greater coherence and clarity to the Trinity range of qualifications and will ensure that our customers are clear about the awarding body they are dealing with. The exams themselves, which were branded Trinity Guildhall after Trinity College London acquired Guildhall Examinations in 2004, will not change as a result of this decision. We will continue to ensure that these excellent qualifications remain current and relevant for teachers and candidates. www.trinitycollege.co.uk
